Ingredients

  • 400 grams Spaghetti
  • 100 grams Arugula
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Chili pepper
  • 1 organic Lime
  • 5 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper

Preparation

    Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 100 ml of pasta water and set aside. Wash the organic lime with hot water, dry it, and carefully grate the zest. Then halve the organic lime and squeeze one half. Wash the chili pepper, cut it lengthwise, and deseed it. Finely chop the garlic and chili. Wash the arugula and spin it dry with a salad spinner.

    Heat olive oil in a pan to sauté the finely chopped chili and garlic. Now mix the reserved pasta water with the arugula, lime juice, and lime zest, and serve together with the cooked spaghetti.
Tip
If you like it a bit juicier, simply toss your spaghetti with extra olive oil. For that spicy finishing touch, sprinkle your pasta with freshly shaved Parmesan.
