Preparation method

First, separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with the milk, raisins, sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt until a smooth batter forms.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Then carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.

Heat the butter in a large, oven-safe pan. Pour in the batter and briefly fry the Kaiserschmarrn on both sides.
