Ingredients
- 40 ml Bourbon Whiskey (e.g., Jim Beam)
- 160 ml sparkling mineral water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 handful of ice cubes
Preparation
- 1Generously fill a highball glass (or a tall glass of your choice) with ice cubes.
- 2Pour 40 ml of Bourbon Whiskey over the ice.
- 3Fill the glass with 160 ml of sparkling mineral water and add a splash (approx. 1 tsp) of fresh lemon juice.
- 4Stir the drink gently once to combine the flavors without losing the carbonation. Garnish with a lemon wedge if desired and enjoy immediately, ice cold.
Tip
For the best result, both the bourbon and the mineral water should be well pre-chilled. This way, the ice melts slower and the drink stays sparkling longer.
