Preparation method

First, bring 1 l of water to a boil in a large pot. While the water is heating, cut the Savoy cabbage into strips or small pieces. Once the water boils, salt it, add the cut Savoy cabbage, and cook for 10 minutes over high heat.

Meanwhile, finely grate the Edam cheese. Melt the butter in a small pot over low heat (takes approx. 30–60 seconds).

Once the Savoy cabbage is cooked, drain it, rinse under cold running water, and squeeze thoroughly.
