Ingredients

  • 120 g cucumber
  • 80 g sour cream
  • 15 ml whipping cream (min. 31%)
  • 4 g sugar
  • 15 ml white wine vinegar
  • 12 g lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

    Thoroughly wash and dry the cucumber, then slice it into very thin rounds or half-moons. For an especially fine texture, the cucumber can also be shaved.

    In a bowl, whisk together the sour cream and whipping cream until smooth. Add sugar, a pinch of salt, freshly ground pepper, white wine vinegar, and lemon juice, then mix everything well.

    Stir the freshly chopped dill into the dressing. Add the cucumber slices and gently mix everything so that the cucumbers are evenly coated with the dressing.

    Garnish the salad with a sprig of fresh dill, if desired. It can be served immediately or chilled briefly in the refrigerator for a more intense flavor. Stir again briefly before serving.
