Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Prepare a small baking dish.

Peel carrots and garlic. Cut the carrots into smaller pieces. Place carrot pieces and whole garlic cloves in the baking dish, drizzle with 1 tbsp rapeseed or sunflower oil, salt, and mix everything well. Roast in the oven at 190–200 °C for approx. 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, pour 50 ml of water into the dish and cook for another 15–20 minutes until the carrots are soft.

Chef's tip

For a vegan version, you can simply replace the quark with a plant-based alternative made from soy or cashew.
