Preparation method

In a saucepan, heat the milk together with the basil leaves until it is just about to boil. Once the milk is hot, turn off the stove, cover the pot with a lid, and let the mixture steep for 30 minutes to allow the aroma to develop.

Then, finely blend the milk together with the basil leaves in a mixer. At this stage, also add the sweetened condensed milk and mix everything well.

Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff. Afterward, carefully fold the basil-milk mixture into the cream and mix evenly.

Chef's tip

Serve the ice cream with fresh strawberries or a drizzle of high-quality olive oil for a true gourmet experience.
