Knead a smooth dough from flour, butter, milk, one egg yolk, a pinch of salt, the finely grated Parmesan, and baking powder. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Let the dough soften briefly at room temperature, then roll it out into a rectangle on a floured surface.

Cut the dough into strips (sticks) about 1-2 cm wide. Carefully place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Chef's tip

For an extra spicy note, you can also mix some paprika powder or chili flakes into the dough.
