Salad Ingredients

  • 500 g Green Papaya
  • 200 g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 100 g Green Beans
  • 150 g Unsalted Peanuts
  • 1 Handful Thai Basil

Dressing Ingredients

  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Red Chili Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Brown Cane Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 3 tbsp Fish Sauce

Preparation

    Peel the green papaya and cut it into fine strips with a peeler or knife. Place in a large bowl.

    Crush the garlic cloves. Add the green beans and cherry tomatoes and lightly bruise everything to release the juices.

    Finely chop or crush the chili pepper in a mortar and add to the mixture.

    In a small bowl, dissolve the brown cane sugar in the lime juice and fish sauce until a harmonious dressing is formed.

    Pour the dressing over the salad and mix all ingredients thoroughly.

    Finally, fold in the fresh Thai basil and roasted peanuts and serve immediately.
Tip
For an authentic aroma, you can briefly roast the peanuts in a dry pan.
