Ingredients

  • 1 package Puff pastry (fresh)
  • 4 tbsp Strained tomatoes
  • 125 g Mozzarella
  • 100 g Zucchini
  • 1 piece Garlic cloves
  • 1/3 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat) and prepare a baking sheet.

    Mix the strained tomatoes with dried oregano, a pressed garlic clove, and a pinch of salt.

    Slice the zucchini thinly with a knife or a mandoline.
  • 4
    Unroll the puff pastry together with the baking paper. Spread the prepared tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a border of approx. 1 cm.

    Drain the mozzarella, gently squeeze it, tear it into small pieces, and distribute it evenly over the sauce.

    Arrange the zucchini slices slightly overlapping on top.

    Drizzle the zucchini with olive oil (or brush with a pastry brush) and season with salt and pepper.

    Whisk the egg in a small bowl and brush the edge of the tart with it.

    Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes, until the edge is golden brown and crispy.
