Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Grease a baking dish (approx. 25 cm diameter) with butter and lightly sprinkle with sugar.

Wash the physalis, pat dry, and distribute evenly on the bottom of the dish.

In a bowl, beat the sugar, the 2 whole eggs, and the 2 egg yolks until the mixture is pale yellow and creamy.
