Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 175–180 °C. Prepare a baking dish (approx. 25 cm × 25 cm) and line it with baking paper.
Prepare two bowls. In the larger bowl, mix the spelt flour with baking powder, baking cocoa, and xylitol. Add the melted butter, 3 eggs, and 300 ml of the milk. Process everything into a smooth dough and pour it into the prepared baking dish.
In the second bowl, mix the low-fat quark with the remaining egg, vanilla extract, the remaining 100 ml of milk, and honey. Spoon the quark mixture irregularly onto the dark dough. Then, use the back of a spoon to draw light circles through both layers to create a beautiful marble pattern.
Chef's tip
For a particularly intense flavor, you can add a pinch of salt to the chocolate dough. The brownies taste best if they have chilled in the refrigerator for an hour after cooling.
