Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 175–180 °C. Prepare a baking dish (approx. 25 cm × 25 cm) and line it with baking paper.
Prepare two bowls. In the larger bowl, mix the spelt flour with baking powder, cocoa, and xylitol. Add the melted butter, 3 eggs, and 300 ml milk. Stir everything into a smooth batter and pour into the prepared baking dish.
In the second bowl, stir the low-fat quark until smooth with the remaining egg, vanilla extract, the remaining 100 ml milk, and honey. Spoon the quark mixture irregularly onto the dark batter. Lightly swirl through both layers with the back of a spoon to create a beautiful marble pattern.
Chef's tip
For a particularly fine aroma, you can add a pinch of salt to the chocolate batter. The brownies taste best when they have chilled thoroughly in the refrigerator.
