Prepare the Dough

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Thoroughly grease two springform pans (Ø 20 cm) and line the bottom with baking paper. Alternatively, one pan (Ø 24 cm) can be used; the baking time will then be extended by approx. 10 minutes.

First, whisk the liquid ingredients – oil, yogurt, eggs, vanilla paste, and orange zest – in a bowl until frothy.

In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Chef's tip
For a particularly fine aroma, you can briefly toast the walnuts in a dry pan before chopping them.
