Rinse the kidney beans thoroughly in a sieve and drain. Place them in a blender with the olive oil and blend until completely smooth.

Stir the remaining batter ingredients – eggs, baking cocoa, cinnamon, baking powder, and chicory syrup – into the bean mixture until a smooth batter forms.

Line a baking pan (approx. 28 x 20 cm) with baking paper and spread the batter evenly in it. Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
