Preparation of the Meringue

Preheat the oven to 150 °C.

In a clean, dry mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding 200 g of the sugar until a firm, glossy meringue forms. Then quickly and briefly stir in the cornstarch, vinegar, and vanilla extract.

Line a baking sheet with baking paper and trace a large plate with a pencil to create the shape of a wreath. Flip the baking paper over so the pencil drawing is on the underside but still visible through the paper.
