Preparation method

  • 100 g shredded coconut
  • 25 g coconut oil
  • 40 g liquid honey
  • 80 g dark chocolate

Put the shredded coconut, 20 g coconut oil, and honey into a blender. Blend until a uniform, sticky mixture forms. Press the mixture firmly into ice cube molds and place them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.

Once the coconut mixture has solidified, prepare a double boiler. Melt the dark chocolate together with the remaining 5 g coconut oil in a bowl over hot (not boiling) water. Stir constantly until the chocolate is smooth and shiny.

Remove the coconut cubes from the freezer and carefully release them from the molds. Dip each piece into the melted chocolate until fully coated. Let the bites set on a wire rack or baking paper for 1–2 minutes, then serve. Stored in the refrigerator, they remain particularly crispy.
