Ingredients
- 3 bags Chai Tea
- 150 g butter
- 80 g cane sugar
- 200 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation
- 1Cut open the tea bags and finely grind the tea in a mortar (or alternatively in a food processor).
- 2In a large bowl, cream together butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and the ground chai using a hand mixer until fluffy.
- 3Add flour and salt and mix in. Knead with your hands to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
- 4Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius (fan-assisted). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 cm thick and cut out cookies with cookie cutters. Place them on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- 5Remove, let cool, and dust with powdered sugar.
