Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 180 g sugar
- 200 g flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons ground hazelnuts or walnuts
- 100 g powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation
- 1Chop the chocolate with a large knife and melt it with the butter over a hot water bath.
- 2Beat eggs and sugar until frothy with a hand mixer.
- 3Mix flour with baking powder and cocoa, sift over the egg-sugar mixture, and fold in.
- 4Stir ground nuts into the chocolate butter, then stir into the egg cream. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it firm up in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
- 5Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top/bottom heat. Use a teaspoon to scoop out small mounds and roll them into approx. 40 balls with lightly floured hands.
- 6Roll the balls in powdered sugar and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes on the middle rack.
- 7Remove from the oven and let cool.
