Preparation method

First, prepare the sweet potatoes: Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes of about 2 cm. Place the cubes in a pot, cover them with enough water, and bring everything to a boil. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to medium and let the sweet potatoes simmer for about 15–17 minutes until they are soft.

While the potatoes are cooking, roughly chop the dark chocolate into pieces.

Once the sweet potatoes are soft, drain the water and mash the potatoes with a fork into a fine puree. Now preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a baking dish (approx. 15 cm x 20 cm) with baking paper.
