Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 195–200 °C and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large bowl, mix oats, whole spelt flour, eggs, sugar, water, baking powder, and vanilla extract until a smooth batter forms. Wash and hull the strawberries, cut them into small cubes, and carefully fold them into the batter.

Fill the paper liners about 2/3 full with the batter. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven at 195–200 °C for approx. 25–30 minutes until golden brown.

Chef's tip

For an extra nutty flavor, you can replace some of the oats with ground almonds.
