Ingredients

  • 230g Penne
  • 200g Chicken Breast
  • 80g Spring Onion
  • 80g Onion
  • 30ml Olive Oil
  • One Egg
  • 300g Cottage Cheese

Preparation

    First, prepare a large pot. Fill with water for the pasta, lightly salt, and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, add the pasta and cook over medium heat according to package directions (we cooked the pasta for 12 minutes).

    Meanwhile, cut the chicken breast into thin strips and finely chop the green parts of the spring onions and the yellow onion.

    Preheat the oven to 190–195 °C and prepare a deeper, oven-safe pan (Ø 27 cm). Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in the pan over medium heat.

    After cooking, drain the pasta and add it to the sautéed onion and chicken breast in the pan.

    In a small bowl, beat an egg. Add the cottage cheese and the finely chopped green parts of the spring onions and mix everything well. Add the mixture to the pan with the remaining ingredients.

    Season the pan's contents with salt and pepper, mix well, and bake in the preheated oven at 190–195 °C for 18–20 minutes.

    Divide the baked pasta among four plates and serve.

    Add the sliced chicken breast fillet and the yellow onion to the hot oil and sauté everything together over medium heat for 4–5 minutes. Then turn off the heat, leave the onion with the chicken breast in the pan, and wait for the pasta to finish cooking.
