- 40 ml dark rum
- 150 ml ginger beer
- 1 piece lime
- 1 handful ice cubes
Fill a tall glass (highball glass) with plenty of ice cubes.
First, pour the ginger beer into the glass. Then carefully add the dark rum to create a nice layered effect.
Cut the lime into wedges. Squeeze some lime juice into the drink and garnish the glass with a lime wedge. Serve immediately.
Chef's tip
For the perfect layered effect (Dark and Stormy Look), carefully pour the rum over the back of a bar spoon into the glass.
