Prepare the Dough

First, prepare the dough for the Bao Buns. Put flour, sugar, dry yeast, and baking powder into a bowl and mix well with a whisk.

Add lukewarm water and oil. Knead the dough either with a food processor or by hand for about 10 minutes until it is completely smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
Prepare the Filling & Salad

Meanwhile, pull the oyster mushrooms apart with your hands along the fibers into fine strips (like pulled pork). Set aside.
