Wash the limes thoroughly. Squeeze three limes to obtain fresh lime juice. Cut the remaining two limes into eight pieces each.

Place the lime pieces together with the brown cane sugar in a sturdy glass. Muddle vigorously with a muddler so that the lime juice combines with the sugar.

Add the freshly squeezed lime juice and the Cachaça. Stir everything carefully until the sugar has largely dissolved.
Chef's tip
For a particularly authentic touch, you can use crushed ice, which cools the drink even faster.
Make sure to use organic limes, as the peel comes into direct contact with the drink.
