  • Frankfurters
  • Puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • Bell pepper
  • Olives

Preparation

    Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 1cm strips
  • 2
    Wrap the frankfurters with the puff pastry strips – in the shape of a mummy, leaving a small gap at the top for the eyes.

    Place the wrapped frankfurters on a baking sheet (lined with baking paper) and then brush with egg yolk (or egg white, if desired)
  • 4
    Bake the puff pastry mummies for 15-20 min in a preheated oven and then add eyes made from olives or bell pepper
