- Frankfurters
- Puff pastry
- 1 egg
- Bell pepper
- Olives
Preparation
- 1Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 1cm strips
- 2Wrap the frankfurters with the puff pastry strips – in the shape of a mummy, leaving a small gap at the top for the eyes.
- 3Place the wrapped frankfurters on a baking sheet (lined with baking paper) and then brush with egg yolk (or egg white, if desired)
- 4Bake the puff pastry mummies for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven and then add the eyes made from olives or bell pepper
