First, prepare the dressing: Finely chop the dill. Peel and finely grate the garlic. Mix both in a small bowl with the low-fat quark and season with some of the salt and pepper.

Wash the tomatoes and peel the onions. Slice both thinly.

Prepare the Meat

Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat them dry, and cut them into thin strips. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the meat strips with oregano, smoked paprika powder, chili powder, ground coriander, tomato paste, and the remaining salt and pepper until the meat is evenly coated.

Chef's tip

For a complete meal, serve the gyros with warm whole wheat pita bread.
