Cut the chicken meat into uniform pieces of about 3 cm and lightly salt.

Wash the bell pepper, core it, and cut it into pieces roughly the same size as the meat.

Cut off the woody ends of the asparagus. Cut about a third of the spears into 3 cm long pieces as well. Set aside the remaining asparagus for later.
