- 500 g ground beef
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 red onion
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground cumin

- 400 g Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tbsp fresh chives
- 250 g pak choi
- 2 orange bell peppers
Preparation of the Meat
Combine the ground beef in a bowl with 3 pressed garlic cloves, smoked paprika powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, and the finely diced red onion. Season generously with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into golf-ball-sized spheres and gently flatten them with the palm of your hand.
Grilling
Grill the meat patties on the hot grill for about 3-4 minutes per side. High-quality beef can remain slightly pink in the center. At the same time, grill the bell peppers, cut into coarse strips, for the same duration.
Sauce and Serving
Meanwhile, mix the Greek yogurt with the remaining pressed garlic clove, lemon juice, olive oil, sage, and finely chopped chives. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the grilled meat on pak choi leaves and serve with the yogurt dip and grilled bell pepper strips.
Chef's tip
For a particularly intense aroma, you can prepare the meat mixture 1-2 hours before grilling and let it rest in the refrigerator.
