Preparation
Take the pork tenderloin out of the refrigerator about an hour before grilling so it can reach room temperature.
Remove tendons from the meat and trim off the thin ends (these can be used for another recipe). Season the tenderloin with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
Grilling
Preheat the grill and sear the pork tenderloin on all sides. On an electric grill, the meat takes about 10-12 minutes for a medium doneness (pink core). Alternatively, use a meat thermometer and grill until a core temperature of 62 °C is reached.
Chef's tip
Let the meat rest for 5 minutes after grilling so that the juices can settle and the tenderloin remains particularly juicy.
