Ingredients
- 500 grams boneless pork neck
- 2 lemons
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp rubbed oregano
- Salt
- Ground pepper

Preparation
- 1Squeeze one organic lemon, quarter the other organic lemon and set aside. Peel the garlic, crush it flat and add to the lemon juice. Mix everything with olive oil and season with oregano and salt. Let the marinade steep for at least 5 minutes.
- 2Meanwhile, wash the pork neck, pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Then rub the meat pieces with the lemon-oil marinade. Now cover everything and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- 3Preheat grill. Soak wooden skewers in water for about 5 minutes. Thread the marinated meat pieces onto the skewers and grill the Souvlaki skewers until golden brown and crispy. Finally, season with salt and pepper and serve with a lemon quarter each.
Tip
If you don't have a grill available, you can also bake the Souvlaki skewers in the oven. Simply line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, spread the skewers on it and grill everything on the highest grill setting for about 5 minutes.
