- 60 g white quinoa
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp baking cocoa
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 1 tsp raw cane sugar
- 20 g dark chocolate (min. 90%)
- Fresh berries of choice
Place the quinoa together with the ground cinnamon, baking cocoa, honey, and raw cane sugar in a small pot. Add 400 ml of water and bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
Once the water boils, reduce the heat to medium. Cover the pot with a lid and let the porridge simmer for approx. 13–15 minutes until the quinoa is soft. Stir occasionally in between. Meanwhile, roughly chop the dark chocolate.
When the porridge is cooked, remove the pot from the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate until melted. For an extra creamy consistency, you can briefly blend the mixture with an immersion blender. Divide the porridge into two bowls and serve immediately.
Chef's tip
Garnish the porridge with fresh berries (e.g., blueberries), a dollop of honey, and, if desired, fresh mint leaves or additional chocolate shavings.
