Ingredients

  • 1 trout (approx. 450 g)
  • 70 g butter
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • Salt
  • Black ground pepper
  • Baking paper

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Cut the butter into slices.

    Cut off the fins of the trout with scissors. Rinse the fish under cold running water and carefully pat dry. Then season with salt and pepper on all sides and inside.

    Place the herbs and 20 g of butter inside the fish. Line a baking sheet with baking paper, spread 20 g of butter on it, and place the prepared trout on top. Top the fish with the remaining butter and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes. Serve the trout immediately and pour the melted butter from the baking sheet over it.
