Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Line a suitable baking dish (approx. 20 x 15 cm) with two layers of aluminum foil so that the foil overhangs by about 10 cm on the sides.

Cut one half of the lemon into thin slices and place them in the center of the foil. Squeeze the other half. Place the salmon fillet on top of the lemon slices, season with pepper, and drizzle with approx. 2 tbsp of the lemon juice.

For the marinade, peel the garlic and press it into a small bowl. Add the honey, Dijon mustard, rapeseed oil, paprika powder, and 1 tbsp of lemon juice, and mix everything well. Pour the mixture evenly over the salmon.

Chef's tip

Serve the salmon with fresh herbs such as chives, basil, or dill for an even more intense flavor. Rice, quinoa, or a light green salad make excellent side dishes.
