Diese pikanten Jalapeño-Poppers sind der ultimative Party-Snack! - 8 pcs fresh jalapeños
- 3 tbsp processed cheese (cream)
- 70 g Gouda block
- 2 tbsp fresh chives
- 200 g breakfast bacon (sliced)
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
Halve the jalapeños lengthwise, carefully remove the seeds, and wash the pods. Finely grate the Gouda and mix it with the processed cheese and finely chopped chives. Season with freshly ground pepper.
Generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Fold the halves back together (or leave them open, depending on preference) and tightly wrap with a slice of breakfast bacon.
Place the prepared jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
