- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions
- 1Bring 250 ml of water to a boil in a small pot. Once the water boils, add the grated ginger and turmeric powder. If using fresh turmeric root, grate it finely as well.
- 2Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer gently for about 5–10 minutes so that the flavors can fully develop.
- 3Pour the tea through a fine sieve into a cup to remove the ginger pieces.
- 4Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste. Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption. Enjoy warm!
