  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

Instructions

    Bring 250 ml of water to a boil in a small pot. Once the water boils, add the grated ginger and turmeric powder. If using fresh turmeric root, grate it finely as well.

    Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer gently for about 5–10 minutes so that the flavors can fully develop.

    Pour the tea through a fine sieve into a cup to remove the ginger pieces.

    Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste. Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption. Enjoy warm!
