Ingredients
- 16 dried, pitted dates
- 16 almonds
- 520 grams bacon (8 strips)
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 200 grams green bell peppers
- Salt
- Ground pepper
Preparation
- 1Cut the dates lengthwise. If the pit is still present, remove it, fill the dates with almonds, and wrap each with half a slice of bacon. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the pan to fry the dates until really crispy.
- 2Wash the green bell peppers and pat them dry. Now add the remaining olive oil to the pan with the fried dates, and vigorously fry the green bell peppers in it as well. Finally, season everything with salt and pepper and serve.
Tip
Additionally, sprinkle the already fried tapas with sugar and let it caramelize. You'll see, it tastes great!
