Preheat the oven to 150 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Measure all dry ingredients for the granola (oats, nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sugar) – except for the shredded coconut – and mix them in a large bowl.

Add the coconut oil and stir thoroughly until everything is evenly coated. Finally, mix in the honey or maple syrup.
Chef's tip
For a chocolatey note, you can mix chopped dark chocolate into the completely cooled granola. Freeze-dried fruits also provide a great fruity variation. Toasted coconut chips are excellent as an additional topping when serving.
