Ingredients
- 190 g tuna in its own juice
- 2 pcs grain baguette
- 100 g natural cream cheese
- 2 pcs eggs
- 1 tsp medium hot mustard
- 1 pc red onion
- 1 tbsp capers
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black ground pepper
- 1 handful fresh chives
Preparation
- 1Place the eggs in boiling water and hard-boil for approx. 8-10 minutes. Then quench and let cool.
- 2Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the red onion. Wash the chives, shake dry, and cut into fine rolls. Finely chop the capers as well. Drain the tuna.
- 3In a bowl, mix the tuna with cream cheese, mustard, lemon juice, the diced onion, half of the chives, and the chopped capers. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4Slice the grain baguette and spread generously with the tuna spread. Peel the eggs and slice them. Top each canapé with an egg slice and garnish with the remaining chives.
