- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp natural cream cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 pickled gherkins in a jar
- 100 g beef pastrami

Generously spread cream cheese on the sourdough bread slices. Spread a little Dijon mustard on top for a subtle seasoning.

Layer the pastrami in loose folds on one of the bread slices. Cut the pickled gherkins into thin slices and place them over the meat.

Place the second slice of bread on top or enjoy as an open-faced sandwich. Serve immediately.
Chef's tip
