Ingredients
- 400 g broccoli
- 60 g noble cheese (e.g., Gorgonzola)
- 50 g Parmesan block
- 1 egg yolk
- 60 ml milk (1.5% fat)
Pantry
- 1⁄4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Preparation
- 1Bring salted water to a boil in a small pot over high heat. Meanwhile, wash the broccoli and divide it into small florets.
- 2Once the water boils, add the broccoli florets and cook for 7–8 minutes over high heat.
- 3Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 220–225 °C and prepare a small gratin dish. In a large bowl, mix the finely grated noble cheese, Parmesan, egg yolk, 60 ml milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
Baking & Serving
- 1Once the broccoli is cooked, drain the water and transfer the broccoli to the gratin dish. Spread the prepared cheese mixture evenly over the broccoli.
- 2Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12–13 minutes at 220–225 °C until the cheese layer is golden brown.
- 3Remove from the oven, divide into two portions, and serve immediately.
