Preparation method
Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil and cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions (approx. 17–18 minutes) until al dente. Then drain and rinse thoroughly under cold water.
While the pasta is cooking, cut the chicken breast fillet into small cubes. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the chicken cubes with salt and pepper for approx. 5–6 minutes until golden brown. Transfer the cooked cubes to a large salad bowl.
For the dressing, add the white wine vinegar, the remaining olive oil, and the honey to the chicken cubes in the bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix everything well.
Chef's tip
For an extra crunchy touch, you can add some roasted pine nuts over the salad.
