Meatball Preparation
First, finely chop the toast bread in a blender. Put the crumbs into a large bowl, pour the cream over them, and let them soak briefly. Finely dice a medium onion and press the garlic. Add the onion, garlic, ground beef, finely grated Parmesan, basil, oregano, and finely chopped parsley to the bowl.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Mix the mixture well in the bowl with your hands and season with salt and pepper. Form about 20–25 equally sized balls from the mixture. Place the meatballs on the baking sheet and bake in the oven at 200–210 °C for approx. 15 minutes.
Chef's tip
Serve the meatballs classically with spaghetti or fluffy rice. A dollop of Greek yogurt also goes perfectly with them.
