Ingredients
- 225 g beef fillet
- 125 g broccoli
- 200 g carrots
- 100 g red bell pepper
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 1 tbsp neutral vegetable oil
Side Dish
- 150 g Basmati rice
Preparation
- 1Cut the beef fillet into very fine strips. Divide the broccoli into small florets, cut carrots into fine sticks, and bell pepper into thin strips. Cook the rice in salted water according to package instructions.
- 2Heat the vegetable oil strongly in a wok or large pan. Sear the beef in it for about 2 minutes (Stir-Fry method: stir constantly) until browned. Remove the meat from the pan and set aside.
- 3Add the prepared vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell pepper) to the pan and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until al dente, stirring constantly. If needed, add a splash of water so the vegetables steam.
- 4Return the meat to the pan, add the soy sauce (or an Asian wok sauce of your choice) and toss everything well for another 2 minutes to heat through. Serve hot with the Basmati rice.
Tip
For an extra aromatic touch, you can fry some fresh ginger or garlic at the end, or sprinkle the dish with toasted sesame seeds.
