Ingredients

  • 3 pcs Lulo fruit
  • 235 ml still water
  • 1.5 tbsp refined sugar
  • Juice of 1/2 lime

Preparation

    Halve the lulo fruits, then quarter them. Remove the peel with a knife or scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Cut the pulp into small cubes.

    Place about two-thirds of the lulo cubes, along with the water, sugar, and lime juice, into a blender. Blend everything well until a smooth consistency is achieved.

    Pour the mixture into a glass with ice cubes. Add the remaining lulo cubes, stir briefly, and enjoy ice cold.
Tip
For a creamier version, you can add a splash of condensed milk – this turns the Lulada into a 'Lulada con Leche'.
