Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C top/bottom heat. Prepare a suitable baking dish (approx. 20 cm x 25 cm).
Preparing the crumble
Put the rolled oats into a large bowl. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat (approx. 2–3 minutes) and then pour it over the oats. Add the honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, and mix everything well until a crumbly mixture forms.
Layering and baking
Place the frozen blueberries directly into the baking dish, sprinkle with cornstarch, and mix gently. Evenly distribute the prepared oat mixture over the berries so they are completely covered.
Chef's tip
The crumble tastes excellent with a dollop of fresh yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A few fresh blueberries also make a wonderful garnish.
