Ingredients overview
- 1 piece Hass Avocado, ripe
- 1 piece Banana
- 2 tsp Carob powder (or baking cocoa)
- 1 tbsp Agave syrup (or honey)
- 2 tbsp Natural cream yogurt 10% fat
- 1 handful Fresh blueberries
- 1 tsp Freeze-dried raspberries
Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Add it to a blender along with the peeled banana.
Add carob powder and agave syrup to taste. Blend everything thoroughly until a completely smooth and creamy mousse is formed.
Pour the mousse into small bowls and garnish as desired with a dollop of cream yogurt, fresh blueberries, and freeze-dried raspberries. Enjoy immediately!
Chef's tip
For a particularly chocolatey note, older children and adults can use high-quality baking cocoa instead of carob.
The mousse tastes best when freshly prepared, as avocado can oxidize easily when exposed to air. A squeeze of lemon juice helps preserve the color.
