Preparation method

Deseed the watermelon and cut the flesh into coarse pieces. Place it in a blender along with the lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and a handful of ice cubes.

Blend everything on the highest setting until a perfectly smooth and creamy consistency is achieved.

For the salt rim, moisten the rim of the cocktail glasses with a little water or a lime wedge, then press into a shallow plate with sea salt.

Chef's tip

For an extra cool version, you can freeze the watermelon pieces for 1-2 hours before blending. This will make the drink almost like a slushie!
