Ingredients

  • 2-3 cm of ginger root
  • 1 liter of water (still or tap water)

Preparation

    Bring water to a brief boil. Meanwhile, wash and dry the organic ginger and cut it into very thin slices.

    Then pour the hot water over the ginger slices. Depending on your taste, remove the ginger slices from the still hot water after a few minutes. Let the ginger water cool down afterwards and enjoy immediately.
Tip
If you are not using organic ginger, peel the root to be safe. And if you prefer a particularly intense ginger flavor, simply leave the ginger slices in the water. It's quite spicy, but your immune system will thank you for it.
