Ingredients
- 300 grams sugar
- 1 piece ginger
- 2 organic lemons
- 1 1/2 liters classic mineral water
Preparation
- 1Mix sugar with 1 liter of water and bring to a boil. Peel the ginger and cut it into small, wafer-thin slices. Remove the outer leaves of the lemongrass, halve them lengthwise, and add them as a stalk with the ginger slices to the sugared water. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes. Then let it cool completely and chill for about 1 hour.
- 2Wash lemons hot, dry them, and cut into coarse cubes. Pour the ginger-sugar water with mineral water, add lemons, and serve in glasses with ice cubes.
Tip
If you want to really spice up your lemonade, you can also add fresh mint or basil to the lemons.
